You can make onion raitha in a jiffy and it makes a great
combo with sambar rice, pulav and kuzhambu rice.
Ingredients:
Curds (plain
yogurt) – ½
teacup (75ml)
Onions – small,
1 no, finely chopped
Green chilli
– ½
chilli, finely chopped
Salt – ½
teaspoon (adjust to taste)
Curry leaves
– a few (optional)
Method: Beat the
curds (plain yogurt) well. Add salt to beaten curds and mix well. Mix little
salt to onion pieces and allow it to stand for 5 minutes. Add onion pieces to
the curds and mix well. Garnish with curry leaves. Your onion raitha is ready!
