Quick Cumin Rice
Method: Wash long grain rice 2-3 times in water and drain fully. Keep aside. Heat ghee in the pressure cooker, add cumin seeds and when they crackle add the rice. Reduce the flame and sauté for a minute. Now add 1½ teacup of water, required salt and cumin powder. Mix well, cover the lid and cook on medium flame for 5 whistles. Then switch off the fire, and once the pressure subsides, open the lid. Mix the rice gently with a fork. Garnish with cilantro leaves. Your quick cumin rice is ready!
